One of Anne's mentors told her, "Tomorrow is a new day, fresh, with no mistakes in it yet."
I have always liked that thought pattern...a do over for the day you may have had or, the way things have gone or are going. The Bible has the original version from which all others follow-..." do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about it's own things. Sufficient for the day is it's own trouble." How darned true huh! Stay in the moment and in the time that you have ...which as we all know is >>>RIGHT NOW!
Okay, this is the day the Lord hath made, let us rejoice and be glad! Another favorite saying of mine. So, For now, I am just staying put, healing and doing the minimal...maybe not even posting, since I have a quest to tell good news and the irregular and off news I share makes me want to share good news all the more..it is a kind of pressure I put on myself here. SILLY me!
All the same, I do believe I am in for a break..Like Dear "Grey Horse Matters", I will be perusing your writings and maybe not adding any of my own, for just a spell. You know me...I won't be gone very long...I love ya's all!
My husband just said to me, after proof reading this...."Sometimes, I find that Just taking a DEEP BREATH, feels like privilege".
Time to Chilax!!!
We all need the time to 'chill out' once in a while. Take a break for as long as you need to, it will do you good to just take a deep breathe and relax and enjoy your horse and your life with no extra pressures for a while.
ReplyDeleteSee you soon.
What wonderful quotes!!!
ReplyDeleteWe will all be here for you when you need us! Take a deep breath!
"Keep your face to the sun and you will never see the shadows."
— Helen Keller
You will get through this rough patch with Wa. You are very in tune with each other and just need to refocus and work some things out, and both heal!
you are quoting some of my fav bible passages... I'd like to share also one of mine
ReplyDeleteProverbs 3:5 Trust in the L-rd with all your heart and Lean Not on Your Own Understanding... In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path
Thought of you today on most adventurous country sit and down and ride extravaganza with patrick complete with a necessary one rein stop. But the best part was when i was loping gazi uphill and i could feel myself coming off balance. He actually backed off so i could regain it back.. wow... I guess he was thinking... geez I dont want to have to come back for you :)
Blessings

Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteKacy, oh, you are all healed up soon! Just relax and take a break, you will be back in the saddle again soon.
ReplyDeleteI can't ride because of all the horrible flies, Gilly is going crazy and hardly comes out of the barn. It could be another month before they are gone. I have a new dog, will be posting about him soon.

You know Kacy when I have a day that I want to do over....I always think of the movie Ground Hog Day! LOL! Great bible verses....you never know...HE may have something in store for you during your "down time". Many times I hear HIM the loudest when I'm quiet....easier said than done I know. Take care of yourself!
ReplyDeleteI love Anne of Green Gables. They used to show it every year when they were asking for money on PBC. I cried every time Farnsworth died and my husband was disgusted and said you know he is going to die! I just kept hoping it would turn out differently, I guess.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your time.
Oh you all are so wonderful..I am tearilly reading and also cracking up=== for the good will and humor of such cool people all of YOU!!!

No mistakes in it, a do-over sort of day... That's how I feel every day here at the new place! It's just so wonderful and rejuvenating!
ReplyDeleteTrying to get all caught up since I'm so behind!
