sadly, i am deathly allergic to horses. which is strange because my father grew up with them... and yet i can't go near them. he really wanted my sister and i to have our own horses, but it just wasn't meant to be :(

I know very little about horses so it has been especially fun to view your beautiful pictures. When I was a kid, I remember my cousin having horses and we would ride whenever together. But that was many moons ago.
The double shadow picture is awesome. And I think it is so cool that your horse recognized a horse shadow. My dog likes to go nose to nose with his reflection in a mirror or even the glass door of the fireplace stove.

what a great picture, I must get in to the habit of taking a camera with me out riding. your photo records of being out and about are great.
