BIG KITTY Freyda LAST YEAR at Thanksgivingtime.
Her mother, my sister, had to lean back, to hold her up!
22-25 lbs
Freyda came to live with my husband and I this past summer 2010~
She has been on a Kitty diet of only 1/3 of a cup of grain free, dry kibble and lots of lazer exercise!
Here she weighs in after 2 months.....oou....
thought it cute of her to be such a good girl too!
Look at the results!!!
Good job Freyda..though your "underfoot activities" in the kitchen
are going to get you/us hurt.
She does a fair amount of asking for MORE Kibble please!
We love our Freyda cat!

Thats not a cat! Its a Tiger!!!!! WoW!
ReplyDeleteMaybe if I went on a kibble diet it would help me too. That's remarkable. I am on the other end. My 15 year old cat can't keep any weight on. I am feed him constantly day and night to keep it even. - Margy
ReplyDeleteNow that's a big kitty, but in good hands! What a sweet post.
ReplyDeletewhat a sweetie, she lets you place her on the scale *sigh*. i wish our cat was so trusting. we're working on it!
ReplyDeletemy cat weighs in at 3 kilos (6 pounds) and just a half hour ago i had my sister in law over to learn how to feed the animals, and i was very specific about exactly how much food mercer gets. and that she's 3 kilos and if she gets fat when we're gone, we'll be mad!: )
mercer gets 100 grams of grain free food per day - that's about what your cat gets, i think? but i also cave to her meow and give her a few teaspoons of canned food at lunchtime, with water mixed in. since the snow came she doesn't want to go outside, so she really should be cut back, but it's hard.
your kitty is such a blessing, i'm so happy for you! and you're doing such a good job of making your cat healthier.

Now that is one big puddy tat! She looks like a sweetheart.
ReplyDeleteThat's a whole lotta kitty to love! My old cat is losing weight, I just put him on kitten chow (grain free) to try and get weight on him.
ReplyDeleteAwww! She's a beauty & good job at losing weight... keep up the good work! =)
ReplyDeleteYou could run a Kitty Weight Watchers! She's still mighty big though...
ReplyDeleteWhat about the white horse - I'm catching up with you and want to know the ending...
Awwwwww...Kac so happy for you and your new kitty!! Freyda is adorable! I just emailed you about another kitty but scratch that. Lol! Trying to find a home for him so if you know anyone looking, let me know! Miss you! Hope you're having a wonderful holiday season. :) xoxo
ReplyDeleteWhat a good kitty - so cooperative getting on the scale! Great job on the diet... maybe I should resort to a measuring cup to keep myself in line lol :)
ReplyDeleteI'm with Barb - on the edge of my seat about the Christmas horse story!!
KC-Fabulous new header! and I especially love the last shot of Freyda.
ReplyDeleteI have never seen a big cat like that - but she is very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWow, you have to be proud of yourselves. It's really hard to diet a cat down, and you've got the formula figured out. That's just great! She looks like a love shlub, that's for sure.
ReplyDeleteshe is huge, but so sweet! and incredibly determined to loose weight :))
ReplyDeleteI LOVE your header! So pretty. And I'll love that big kitty any ole' time!
ReplyDeleteFreyda is a beautiful big kitty girl! Good job on the weight control. When we inherited our big girl Callie, I tried putting her on a kitty diet. However, we quickly came to an understanding; I wouldn't restrict her food, and she wouldn't pee all over the house! She won, hands down.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful kitty!! Good job on the weight loss, she will be healthier for it! :-)
ReplyDeletejane
They say 'you can never have too much of a good thing', but a little bit less of Freyda isn't bad at all ;-)
ReplyDeleteLovely Cat you got there...
