This is Me

Oregon City, Oregon, United States
I live with my beloved husband in a Queen Anne Vernacular -1904 in Historic Oregon City. I grew up here in Oregon, always thought I'd move to another place, yet now that I am older and visited other places, I believe I will remain in Oregon. Growing up, I rode the dog till my mom finally got me a Pinto pony named Trixie when I was 7. The dog really hated me trying to ride him and I was just copying my sister, as she rode the horses in the family. I spent the best part of my childhood riding my pony Trixie around 3-4 towns-linked by fields. We barely even touched roads ~WAY BACK THEN~ we were unstoppable and rarely came home before sunset and sometimes did, after dark! I am back to that riding habit NOW!!! My sister brought me a Thoroughbred mare almost 4 years ago. It has been a difficult ride back into horses...and never having owned one with the stable management involved~ WOW ~ I'm a bit overwhelmed with the responsibility of it all! This blog is dedicated to my mare Washashe, her and her horseface friends, and mine too! I am learning to love my horse the way she loves herself. . .
