Trim time and my mare always seems to participate by looking on over my work. She always stands very well for these times.
This was not a sepia photo originally so, but I do like it better this way.

interesting story -- she appears she might even enjoy it, but don't most women enjoy having their nails done? *smile*

Plain Stuff
I like the sepia better and I haven't seen the original. LOL Nice shot.
ReplyDeleteLovely horse, beautiful photo
ReplyDeleteThank you for visit me !!
She seems like one smart horsey! I love the interaction between horse and owner. Beautiful shot.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photo of a good horse.
ReplyDeleteShe is a horse of distinction, the loving companion that loves the attention. Since she can't file and trim her hooves, she relies on your help. But a mare of style surely wants to inspect your work - she would inspect her trim if she could trim her hooves herself...
ReplyDeleteI wish Maisie was that good - she's often fussy, although she's improved. Dawn (ex-racehorse) and Noble are perfect for the farrier. Lovely shot!
ReplyDeletebeautiful horse & looks great in sepia!
ReplyDeleteSepia is just right for this shot. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGreat picture KK !
ReplyDeleteI love the photo! Are you rasping/filing her feet yourself?!? You are amazing. What a close bond between you and your mare!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful picture. I love pictures in sepia. She has the look of love on her face. WHat a beauty!
ReplyDeleteAwesome pic Kacy! Very impressed with your trimming ability! I'm too scared to try Caspian's...but maybe someday...
ReplyDeletea great choise for a sepia photo. :)
ReplyDeleteI love this shot, and it definitely looks great in sepia.
ReplyDeleteShe looks like she's saying "Okay, a little more off the left, good! Thank you!" :P She's such a pretty mare.
ReplyDeletegreat shot. Of course any shot with a horse in it is pretty good.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't fortunate enough to own a pony when I was a kid but my kids did and they rode the whey outa them. Good times. I still have horses 50+years of ownership--egads am I that old. MB
it's a great picture. for some reason i like sepia better at times.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great blog you have. Loves horses, and you have lots of great pictures here.
ReplyDeleteAnnie just had her hooves filed. She was so interested! She also pulled the farriers underwear out from under his waistband! She gave her first wedgie!
