One of my first challenges was"Eyes"and while it was extremely difficult to take a shot that was not blurry of my mare...she just never stops moving...I got this one, quite surprisingly!
It is a fav for obvious reasons!
It is a fav for obvious reasons!
The second one- below- was from another challenge..."Weeds"...I always enjoy viewing all the others shots, even when I do not participate. It is truly inspiring to see how they do it and also; some post the settings of which. I went out that day to find some weeds...and somehow I got this shot, I was in love with the colors and the angle and got just a bit more hooked, on how creative one can be with a camera!

Beautiful shots!
ReplyDeleteYou're right. It is hard to choose. My heart goes out to the eyes of a horse though. So big and beautiful. The dandelion takes me back to age 6 and counting the years till marriage thing. There were always about a zillion left after blowing. And I should have waited that long too.
ReplyDeleteLove the reflection! Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI can see why these are your fav's - great pics!!
ReplyDeletesuperb eye shot! I'm going to spend the rest of the year trying to get one of those too!! I do have one of my horse reflected in another horses eye, took it by accident though.
ReplyDeletehave to say about tack and gadgets that nothing replaces good training and time....
Wonderful - love the eye!
ReplyDeleteHey thanks for visiting -- I see we have "horses" in common --- I love them and have had at least one in my life since I was a little girl (minus about 3 yrs when we first got married!) -- another love is taking pictures of the unusual -- so I'm looking forward to Ed's challenges.. Have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteYour self portrait in Wa's eye was one of my faves, too.
ReplyDeletePerfect choices. I especially love it that you are in the eye shot.
ReplyDeleteSo this is how Wa view you? Awesome shot. It's like the two of you are kindred spirits:) And just look at those eyelashes! Pretty lady, she is.
ReplyDeleteThe dandelion reminds me of my now 10 year old grandaughter. She was 5when she called them "wishing Blossoms", as she wished many hopeful wishes for her granny, on a walk we took in the park. I will always see these with fond memories of my sweet Aly's great big heart. Thanks for the memory :)

ReplyDeleteI've seen a lot of eye pictures & yours is fantastic! Now I have to go try that!
ReplyDeleteI love the horses eye! It's harder than it looks to get a shot like that!
ReplyDeleteneat reflection in the eye!
ReplyDeleteYou're right - the weeds shot is really intriguing. That's the kind of shot that makes me want to develop my creative eye a bit more. Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteHow cute that your reflection is in Wa's eye. Very cool!
ReplyDeleteAwesome shots. I especially liked the mare's eye - with you reflected!
ReplyDeleteI remember these. That eye shot blows me away! I love that your image was captured clearly in her beautiful eye, too.
