A Religion for Every day

I would be true, for there are those who

trust me;

I would be pure, for there are those

who care;

I would be strong, for there is much to

suffer;

I would be brave, for there is much to

dare.

I would be friend to all--to foe, to friend-

less;

I would be giving, and forget the gift;

I would be humble, for I know my weak-

ness;

I would look up, and laugh, and lift.

  2. Very nice Kacy really liked this! I saw you modeling your necklace at Five O'clock Somewhere! It looks so good you! I'm going to have to get one too! Very interesting what everyone is doing with these boardgames. Yesterday I received a flier in the mail from a local art studio featuring an artist from Chicago that makes purses out of them! Or an album cover, show bill or whatever you want! Have a blessed day!

  14. Those are wonderful words to live by.

    I remember it as a hymn that I sang years ago. The melody went through my mind while reading the poem. You brought back fond memories. Thanks!
