I COULD GIVE ALL TO TIME

To Time it never seems that he is brave
To set himself against the peaks of snow
To lay them level with the running wave,
Nor is he overjoyed when they lie low,

But only grave, contemplative and grave.

What now is inland be ocean isle,
Then eddies playing round a sunken reef
Like the curl at the corner of a smile;
And I could share Time's lack of joy or grief
At such a planetary change of style.

I could give all to Time except---except
What I myself have held.

 But why declare
The things forbidden that while the Customs slept

I have crossed to Safety with? For I am There,
And what I would not part with I have kept.

 Robert Frost~
Love and Joy come to you,
God bless you and send you a Happy New Year!

  20. I wasn't able to respond to your comment directly - there's a setting you can change so that when you leave a comment, the blog owner can respond back directly - right now it reads No-reply.

Thank you for your compliment about my header - yes, it's a photo of the pine forest right next to This Old House - I used Boost in Picnik to bring out the golds and deepen the green. Your photos are awesome, from you a photo compliment is BIG.

  24. Thanks everyone!
It was a rare moment in time to be out at my sissy's barn to shoot Pantz mare-with a scarf and hat. She would have no part of the hat..and then no part of the photo shoot either- once it began to SNOW!!
She moved away and would not be in it at all. I got few poictures with her...so I focused solely upon the snow, birds and larger-than- life- flakes, coming straight down!
THEN, I realized-oou, I have got to DRIVE home, in a truck!

Nice to meet you too Julie!!
