| Nice weather has kept us on the trails. 70's in October! |
I know that this unexplained break from Bloggerville had some wondering about us. Thankyou for seeking me out via email and comments. I am sorry for such a long blogger break...totally did not realize that I'd get to ride in such FABULOUS conditions from June till now! Just 3 days of rain in 3 months, and 2 little storms in September.
THIS IS NOT THE OREGON I KNOW! But, neeed I say more - LUUVING IT!
I did start a Summertime post , about mid way through it...but so much was going on and the computer does give us fits, from time to time (it is from the dark ages) it freezes up and won't do a thing I ask! I couldn't make myself sit inside!
So while there is so much to write about ( hospital visits, Arachnophobia bouts, Pescatarian lifestyle changes)..... I have to wait for a day that MAKES me stay put! Plus, there is so much neat-o news from you all to read about and catch up on!
Today, coming inside from the greater outdoors , is still tough
( Been Race training for a Thanksgiving Turkey Trot 5 K...) ....it has been in the 70's and sunny for the better part of October! So, just like that, I shall leave you again. Gotta work sometimes. All the while wistfully yearning to be OUT in this BRIGHT, Sunny day today. And the next two days off...ride plans!
Say you missed US a little, and I will come back sooner!

Lucky with the weather! I don't blame you at all for wanting to enjoy every minute of it! I do look forward to reading all the stories you have saved up, though :)

DeleteIt has been fun...my mare has been STELLAR mature and making nice moves and decisions for us...she is PERFECT! Dusting may be coming into her own too, by the sounds!

ReplyDeleteYes, thanks Shirley. We had 3 summers worth of summer this year...it never ended...till this weekend! I am full up with pleasures and riding times....coming in is resfull...needing that too! I am back, and catching up with all...

DeleteI feel like we are still so connected with Instagram - wish all our other blogger friends would join up then we could quit blogging and just gram from horseback!!! Love the new diet - yummy photos and good luck with the 5K. In lieu of our Florida trip we may be running the local Turkey Trot as a family. So I'll be training with you Kac!

It's always nice to squeeze in warm weather riding before you need to bundle up for winter! Missed reading your posts--glad everything is OK. Good luck with your 5K! I laughed at Juliette's Instagram comment--with the windy howling and tossing leaves, I need both hands on the reins! Wahooo!

DeleteI think she and take more easy paced rides, more than you and TB's. I have needed 2 hands lately too....scarey migrating leaves and creatures about in our woods! We group of family are so much more healthy this year, over last. between 3 of us sisters, we've shed 55 lbs!

Bruce is well, working diligently (and CALMLY) and I'm overjoyed with the progress we've both made/are making, its been truly life changing.
Yes, he's trace-clipped. He's out in his field from 6am-4pm so his winter woolly coat gives him warmth under his rugs, and I find the trace sufficient to "let the sweat out" when we're riding.
I didn't realise I wasn't following your blog, so have just signed-up!
